The Director of Residential and Housing Services is responsible for working as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide leadership and guidance in the development, implementation, and evaluation of residential services for substance use treatment and homeless services.  Provides overall planning organization, and quality assurance to ensure evidence-based treatment models are being used to help promote recovery and meaningful treatment options for persons served.  Responsible for the management and direction of the gender specific

The Director of Residential & Housing Services is a key member of DACCO's Executive Steering Team whose primary job duties include:

*Design treatment programs that are clinically appropriate for the level of treatment, meet contractual requirements, and achieve meaningful outcomes

*Ensure consistency across the residential program to ensure policy and procedures are consistently implemented in accordance with agency, the funder, and regulatory agencies

*Train and supervise staff in directing daily operations in the program

*Monitors Financial, Productivity/Utilization, and Quality reports seeking resolution and guidance as needed

*Direct quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with CARF, DCF and contracts

*Sustain highest standards in protecting client rights and building employee morale and set up systems for monitoring/improving retention of clients and staff

*Interface positively with Board, referral sources, other agency directors, contracting agencies and community leaders

*Provide staff liaison with contracted funding sources

*Participate in agency quality assurance committees as assigned

*Develop program procedures to inspect facilities and report maintenance needs


*LMHC, LCSW or LMFT required; MCAP Preferred

*Five years of related experience with three years in a management capacity

*Experience with homeless population and/or criminal justice population preferred

*Experience managing multiple sites a plus

*Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork and problem-solving to achieve goals

*Interpersonal relationship skills necessary to relate to a variety of internal and external contacts
